Ledgard Wines, are a young growing family, Rhys and his wife Andreia along with their two boys.

​

This venture of theirs started off in 2019 when Rhys suggested that they make ONE wine and that wine would be dedicated to their first son Oscar.

Fast forward to now, 2022 they have two sons with another wine to dedicate to Xavier and produced 7 wines from the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale wine regions and still counting.

 

The Ledgard family have a very long history in viticulture stretching back to the 1940's and for filling roles right across the industry.

Rhys takes a gentle approach to wine making, minimal intervention and minimal additives, with the aim to produce high quality wines that speak for themselves by selecting their fruit from premium producers who take exquisite care of the vineyard to produce the best fruit possible.

Their production has slowly but surely grown each vintage.

2020 - 50 Dozen produced.

2021 - 96 Dozen produced.

2022 - 230 Dozen produced.
